Ok people, I am not a computer guy. So, please bear with me if the question
seems super basic. I am at home right now on my laptop that has strong
connection to the internet ("excellent strength" via a wireless router).

I drove 4 blocks back to work to get the IP address of my Host computer (I
own a very small financial services company) to access Remote Desktop.

i came back home put in the IP and proper username and password in the setup
wizaard and no deal...didn't work. Something about the FIRE WALL.

Do I need to go back to work and make an exception and check the "Remote
Desktop" check box.

OR is there something else in addition I need to do. I thought I would ask
you guys before I ran out of gas going back and forth making one little
adjustment aftrer another.

ANY input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The bottom line is you need to forward/open TCP Port 3389 through any
firewall the PC is behind...
