I am trying to access a computer on the WAN using remote desktop. I have no
problem logging on as an adminstrator, but if I try to logon as a
non-adminstrator I get a message that says the local security policy of this
system does not permit you to logion interactively.

Is there a local security policy setting that I need to change??

admin tools>local security>user rights assignment.will show who is
permitted, in W2003 they are Admins and RD users groups.

Add the user to the group Remote desktop users if that is what your settings
also say.

Jedron,

Is the non-admin account provided the Remote Desktop access privilege?

See:

Remote desktop connection "The local policy of this system does not permit
you to logon interactively":

By default, the Remote Desktop connection only allows user accounts with
passwords to be accepted. If the user account does not have a password, it is
rejected. However, you can override this "password requirement" with a policy
change.
