Okay, I understand with all the security issues going on but I have a
question, that may put some of your minds to use.

I have always wanted to start a remote desktop support business, I have a
domain already setup and everything, but the most successful and cost
effective solution is by using Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection.

Not everyone can understand, how to turn on microsoft remote desktop
connection and how to create a support ticket from their help and support
center via the start menu.

So, is there a way that I can create a ticket for them that will allow me to
log into their computers (Windows XP HOME) via my RDC Windows XP PRO?

Not with Remote Desktop. XP Home can *NOT* act as a Remote Desktop host.

Remote Assistance is the help desk function in XP (Pro, Home or MCE
editions) and all Vista editions...

Otherwise you might look at using UltraVNC with its encryption key and
Single-Click functionality...

....or ShowMyPC that runs a VNC link through a third-party SSH tunnel...

Let me start out by saying that I hope these are current customers of yours.

Your subject is misleading.
Windows XP Home only has Remote Assistance.
Windows XP Home does not have Remote Desktop.

If you really wanted to have to explain the least amount of anything to your
'end customers' - then you would not want to utilize Remote Desktop in the
first place. The reason is very simple. There could be many more obstacles
to its use (software firewall, Internet router, etc) than just explaining to
your end users how to utilize the software already in place.

What you would want to do is make it *as simple* for them as possible.

My suggestion, UltraVNC - specifically the "Single click" version:

You customize the interface, you have it downloadable from some web address,
they double-click on it and a couple of other simplistic steps and it gets
through all the routers/firewalls for you - because THEY make the request
and your computer receives it.
