So I used to be able to use Remote Desktop on my laptop to connect to my
desktop with no issues whatsoever. However, a few weeks ago, I was suddenly
unable to connect to my desktop. When I click on the Connect button, the
buttons with gray out for a split second and then reenable and nothing
happens...no error message, no connection, nothing. I can ping my desktop
from my laptop just fine, I can connect to my laptop from my desktop fine, I
just can't do it from my laptop to my desktop.
Both computers are running XP Professional with Service Pack 3 with all the
necessary updates. I made sure Remote Connections are allowed and that it
exists in the Windows Firewall exceptions.
Now, I don't THINK I made any changes before it stopped working...at least
none that I know of, to any settings or my router settings...anyone have any
ideas?
