I tried to set up my remote desktop web connection and
succeeded! The problem I can't figure out is the
following. When you try to logon you have to give the
server name, user name and domain name. I want to give
the user name and the password. Why don't I have to give
any password. My computer is connected directly to the
internet...

Hope you understand the problem

Try this...

From a response by Jeffrey Randow, MS-MVP, to another poster with a similar problem...

*************************************
Remove the Guest user or group from the Remote Desktop users local group (Start->Run->compmgmt.msc
then Local Users and Accounts -> Local Users or Local Groups...)
*************************************

Also, you can setup Remote Desktop to always prompt for a password using a Group Policy. Run
"gpedit.msc" from the "Start -> Run" command line. Navigate to "Local Computer Policy -> Computer
Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Terminal Services -> Encryption
and Security -> Always prompt client for password upon connection"....Right-click and configure to
"Enable" this option.
