I have used the 'remote desktop' option from an XP to an XP computer and
from a 2000 to XP computer by downloading the Microsoft remote desktop
utility (msrdpcli.exe). Is there a way to remotely control a Windows 2000
computer from an XP computer? If there is a Microsoft utility that allows
this, can someone point me in the right direction?

thanks

Allison,
you will only be able to do this connecting to a windows 2000 Server
running terminal Services.

Kind Regards

Nothing from MS for Win2k does this, but you could look into one of the VNC
products....
