Should I be able to see video and hear audio on a remote
computer that I'm using to connect to my other computer
at home which is running xp pro with remote desktop on?

Thanks in advance.

Yes to video, although the quality of it will be subpar (unless you
are using a DVD, in which case, no - you shouldn't be seeing video).

Audio will depend on your system settings when you connect. You need
to select the Bring to this computer option under Local Resources on
the RDP Client. However, you still might not get audio due to the
audio redirection bug - in this case, start up an application like
media player BEFORE you log on with Remote Desktop.

Thank you for your reply Jeffrey, I appreciate it.

Well doggonit anyway. I was really looking forward to
being able to do that kind of thing remotely. So what
type of worthwhile things can you do with remote desktop?

Thanks again
