Remote Desktop: Remote Windows Session logs off when Disconnect

According to the Disconnect dialog box, the Remote windows session will
continue to run after I close down the remote desktop session.

HOWEVER, that is often not the case. Most of the time (but not always), the
remote windows session does not continue (remote machine windows session
closes down).

Both machines are running XP SP2 (home is Media Center, remote is XP Pro).

Any ideas why?

Its possible a group policy has been configured to log out a disconnected
session... Just a wild guess...
