I posted this in the networking subject last night and
received several replys telling me to enable RD. RD is
enabled. I have tried all the suggestions that I can
find but cannot solve my problem. I have a LAN in my
home with a wireless connection to my
laptop. My Desktop is running XP Pro and the laptop has
XP Home. My problem is that I cannot access the desktop
with the Remote Desktop feature of XP Pro. When I
attempt to connect I get an error saying that remote
access may not be enabled, or the computer may be too
busy. When I browse for available computers I get a
message saying that the domain/workgroup does not contain
any terminal servers. I am not a real computer smart
kind of guy... I don't know what a terminal server is,
but there is nothing about it in the help files regarding
remote desktop.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
