I am having some problems with remote printing. The print
job is submitted at the host computer and displays as
spooling in the remote computers print queue, but it never
releases. I have this problem on 2 computers, the first
one I deleted the printer on the host trying to correct
the problem and now the remote printer does not
automatically pull down as a resource to the host
computer. Can I manually set up this port and how do I
address the issue with the document spooling and not
releasing tha caused the whole problem in the first
place. The proper printer drivers are loaded on both the
host and the remote.

Am I right in assuming that in common with the two host machines is a single
client machine?

I'd re-install the printer driver on the machine where you deleted the
printer.
(If you want certainty--look at the system event log on that host machine
for messages at the time of your RD connection. You should see something
relating to why the printer isn't set up.)

I think I've seen this symptom posted before, but don't have any recall of
the solution. Can you say more about the app from which you are printing?
If you exit the app completely, does the print job release?
