I have two XP computers that a client is using from home.

One is his primary computer, and has all his config, the other is a staff
members computer, but he can access it if he needs to.

The first computer used to connect his home printer (connected to his home
LPT1), now it does not.

The second computer is fine.

I have also connected, the second computer connects to my HP 2100, the first
one used to but does not anymore.

He is running XP pro with the built in RDP software, I am running 2k with
the downloaded RDP software.

I have seen this somewhere else without resolution as well, is it common,
does anyone have a solution.

I have tried checking and unchecking the checkbox to connect the remote
printer.

That's wierd. Was there a driver change for the printer?

Have you checked the System event log at the host machine looking at
connection/disconnection times of RD sessions for clues? Comparing the
printer messages now with the ones when it worked might be even better, but
that might not be possible.
