Remote Desktop Password?

I have RD set up on a laptop and my desktop across the
LAN. When I try to connect it asks for a password. I
don't have a user password set up on either machine so I'm
a little stumped what to put in order to get it to connect.
Any help would be appreciated, I would really like to get
this going.

That's a good thread--pretty well covers all sides of the issue.

I'm still strongly in favor of autologon (on the host machine) in this
situation.

If there is any possibility at all that access from the outside, across the
Internet might ever be needed, setting the null password is a BIG risk.
