Hey all.. I have a computer without a monitor or a keyboard hooked up
to it... Well they are there temporarily, but I would like to remove
them.. I can connect to the computer just fine using Remote Desktop..
However.. I would like for the computer when turned on, to boot
straight to the desktop.. But to use Remote Desktop, their must be a
password associated with the user account (There's only one).. And with
a password on the account, it doesnt boot straight to the desktop..
See, if it boots straight to the desktop, no keyboard or monitor needed
on this machine.

Can anyone think of a workaround for this?

I'm on a home local network, so I don't have any security issues to
think of.. Any thoughts would be welcome.

Thanks
David

Go to Start -> Run.
Copy and paste the following into the Open box:

control userpasswords2

Click OK.
Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer".
In the box that pops up, replace Administrator in the "User
Name" box with your user account. Enter your password twice.
Click OK twice and reboot to see if you get the desired
results.
