Remote Desktop Occasionally Failing

I use remote desktop from work to home every single day.
However, it has happened several times in the past 2
months that a session would drop, and then i won't be
able to connect again, until i log on locally on my home
computer. After that the RDP would work again. When RDP
fails to connect, my other connections are still working
though (e.g. file sharing access)

Any suggestions?

This has worked in a few other cases - try changing your Fast User
Switching settings under Control Panel - User Accounts - Change how
Users Log on to this computer.
