Remote Desktop - Multiple Users

I was told that multiple users can be logged onto one
machine using remote desktop, but when I have tried to do
this, it only allows one user at a time. Is there a
setting that I need to change to allow multiple users to
be logged onto the same box at the same time?

This is not possible. It is as far as I know only possible using unix or
linux. There is no setting available as I have looked as well.

Not when the host is XP Pro.
Windows 2000/2003 Terminal Servers have this ability, and
you can use Netmeeting desktop sharing on XP Home/Pro to
get something like this as well.

.

My main goal is to connect a computer running linux to a
computer running Windows XP Pro by using the remote
desktop feature. This means that netmeeting is out of
the question for me, as there is not such thing for
linux. I did get a pretty good linux client for the
remote desktop feature, but I have to kick whoever is
using the XP box off while I am on it. I was wondering
if there is any way around this, or is it only Linux that
offers the ability to have multiple users logged in at
the same time?
