When i try using Vista to acsess my XP machine, the vista machine screen is
blank, The XP machine automatically logs off and i believe when it does this
it drops the connection. Is there any way around this. Both PC's are using
wireless connections.

Does this happen after you login with Remote Desktop or before you get a
login window? Did you look at the auto tuning write-up to see if it
pertains?

Perhaps an MTU issue. Bob Lin, MVP, has some guidance for that..

I have managed to get the connection working, however i have to use a wired
connection to the Router instad of the wireless connection. For some reason
when RDT connects to the PC and logs off the current user when using a
wireless connection it shutsdown the Wireless card, where as with a wired
connection it does not, Thanks for you help, i will investigate this further,
when i get a chance.
