Remote Desktop frequent disconnects

THe first time I used RD it worked great, but the next time it kept
disconnecting and then reconnecting. Any answers to this problem. Both home
and work are using XP Pro and both are using Comcast. Power management is
turned off on both NIC's.

When things get sloppy go to the command prompt and ping your router
gateway on the other side and see whats up. (ping -t 68.xxx.xxx.xxx)
Rule out the basic problems first.
