Remote desktop freezes, turns black/white, icon appears, restarts

Every 10 mins or so, Remote Desktop Connection freezes up. The screen changes
to black and white. After a few minutes an icon appears top right of screen
showing diagram of 2 computers with a red cross on the wire linking them.
Then colour reappears on the screen gradually from top to bottom and Remote
Desktop Connection re-activates. About 1 time in 10 it fails to reactivate
and I have to re-connect from scratch. I am using 1MB broadband, a British
Telecom router and connecting to company LAN via "Rova" software. Any ideas?

I would make sure both the XP Pro RD host and your RD client PC are running
the latest video drivers...

Thanks, I will check the video drivers. However, I am using one client
laptop to connect to one office host PC, but I am forced to use two different
routers at two locations. At one of the locations, I can only connect to the
LAN and Remote Desktop host PC with a Speedtouch 545 router. There are no
"freezing" problems and everything's fine. At the other location, I can only
connect to the LAN and Remote Desktop with a BT Voyager 210 ADSL router and
there are freezing problems every few minutes. So can it really be video
drivers, or is it something to do with the router?
