Remote Desktop for XP Pro, not connecting properly.

Remotely Concerned

Can someone give me some tips on how to fix this problem.
This is happening at my place of work. When we remotely
connect from one XP Pro box to another it takes about 3
tries and then we can finally login, workstation only.
The user on the other end does not get a message either
that he will be kicked off so Beware. The other problem
is when you try to log off the connection it hangs at the
screen "please stand by" something like that. Although
the disconnect works fine, but leaves the remote
connection still on.

P.S. We have the latest Novell client on these PC's.
Could this be causing our problem?
 
It might be 'cos of that. Could you please uninstall the Novell client once
and check if you can repro this problem.
