Remote Desktop disconnects

hi,

i keep loosing remote desktop connection after a minuet or so when i am remoting on from my server to another server. i do not have this problem with any other of our servers. i have tried changing the hardware e.g NIC, cables and ports etc. can you help!
they are both Server 2003.

P.S. this server is the only one running virtual server could this be the issue?

Can no one help... if you have any quesions to help your troubleshooting please post them.
 
Does anything appear at the time of disconnect in the event log on the system you are trying to connect to?

no nothing regarding this. its not usual, i thought it maybe because this server has a virtual server running on it which is the Domain Controller. do you think this may be the problem? do you have any other ideas because i have been banging my head.
