Hi all!
Here is my problem: My XP SP2 pc doesn't connect to a Win2000 Terminal
Server. I can ping the TS, but whenever I try access it with RDP, I get the
message
"The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer.
The most likely causes for this error are....(3 more lines)".
I don't even get the TS login screen.
It does work with my other PC, so the TS seems to be OK in general.
I turned the Windows Firewall off on my pc for testing.
I tried removing the "MSLicensing" key in the registry, and that changes the
picture only slightly: When that key is not there, I get a black Remote
Desktop window and after a while a different message:
"The connection to the remote computer was broken. This may have been caused
by a network error. Please try reconnecting again."
After that, the MSLicensing key is recreated, and when I try again, I'm back
to error message one.
I spent hours on this issue already, I'm out of ideas now. Can someone help
me?
Thanks in advance!
