I use VPN to connect from my home computer to my work
computer. I am able to connect to the VPN, but when I
try to connect with Remote Desktop, I'm given an error
that prevents connection.
I find that I have to log into a different work computer
and then use that computer's Remote Desktop to then link
into MY laptop.
When I do this, my Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the
task bar changes from a RED color to a Blueish color.
What does this indicate AND is there aspects of Anti-
Spyware that prevents me from directly connecting from
Home desktop to work laptop without having to log into
this other computer first?
The other computer does NOT have SP2 installed where as
the laptop does. Could it be Firewall restriction? I do
have Remote Desktop in the approved list of apps under
Windows Firewall.
