Hello, i have been trying to connect to my office computer, which use Win XP and is plug directly in the LAN modem, since 2 days without success. The other computer work on the same OS. First, i checked for all the informations i could find on this board to find something that could help me. I found someting.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;305608

I did all that it says there and it still don't work. I need something that will help me step by step, from the first thing to do till i press connect on the remote computer. In the RDC( Remote Desktop Connection ) application, i type the IP address of the remote computer. Where do i find the user name ? ( Most be the name of your session/account or the name of the computer ) Where do i put a password ? ( Most the password used to connect to your session/account ), What is Domain ?

The username, domain, and password will be the same ones that you use to log
onto your work computer when you are at work. What you will need to do, or
have IT to do, is make sure that the public IP address you are coming in on
has port 3389/tcp mapped to the workstation you are trying to access.

Kind Regards,
