I have an intermittent problem connecting to my office desktop
computer. About half the time I can connect without any problem. The
rest of the time, after successfully connecting via VPN, I get a
simple message that says "Cannot connect this computer with the remote
computer." No message number, just a suggestion to contact my
administrator (who is me). I can always tell when this is going to
happen becuase it does not ask for my credentials even when I have the
box checked. All firewalls are turned off, including the antivirus
(Trend Micro), and the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. Any
help out there???

his problem develops, if the connection were not separated cleanly.
In this case a renewed connection is not possible until the
registration is deleted.

Unfortunately that is not what is happening. I installed the VPN
client on my wife's XP computer and it connected easily. I switched
back and forth between the two, and her computer consistently
connected and mine (the Vista computer) consistently did not.
