We have several users connecting via RDC but they cannot print. I have
researched and tried several proposed solutions to no avail.
My Win XP Pro sp2, HP5 shows up and prints successfully. My other 2 printers
(HP750 & HP5500, both usb connected) do not appear on the host. I manually
added the HP750 on the host side, then tried different TS00## ports thinking
that maybe one of them would work for my other printer, but no such luck.
They are appearing under the print spooler for the hp 5500, but they are not
printing. Nothing shows up in the hp750 spooler.
At least I can see and print to my HP5, but our other users do not even see
their printers (& yes the printer drivers are installed on the host). I have
double checked various settings (local devices, Printers checked) and need a
solution. All users have Win XP Pro sp2 and connecting to our Win 2003
Server SP1 standard edition.
We all have RDC ver 5.1.2600.2180 (Would 6.0 help ? even though ther server
is still SP1 ?)
