i hav my office system and home system, both are running
windows xp pro.

now i want to connect between them to get the sahared
information at home computer.

i don't hav internet connection available and no static
ip address.

It is two standalone systems . i hav modem installed on
both system.

now is it possible to connect these systems by dailing
the destination telephone number thru modem?.

i think using remote desktop connection i can do it, but
how?.

what configuration i need to do for that ?.

i don't want to use any third party software.

Not that he needs my confirmation, but I agree with Manjari Bonam--this will
work.

Set up Incoming Connection, using the modem, on the machine you will dial
into.

Dial up the machine. You need a user with a password (both set up on the
machine with the incoming connection) to connect.

Once connected, right-click the icon for the connection, choose status,
details tab. Note the IP address for the "server."

Try running Remote Desktop Connection, and put in that IP address.
