I'm using the last release (5.2) of RDC on a Win98 Machine to access
remotely a XP Machine.
But When I hold down the Start button, the Start Menu opens on the
local machine instead on the remote machine...

How can I correct this problem?

Thanks in advance.

It doesn't matter (?)

Click on Start button on remote desktop, instead of local desktop.

??? Maybe I have not understood, or I have used the wrong words.

I do *NOT* make any clic action.

I simply press the "Start" key (I am in full screen mode), but the
start menu opens on local machine instead on remote machine.

Obviously, I can click on the start button (in the remote machine,
since I am in the full screen mode), but other people that must use the
machine can be confused by this strange behaviour pressing the Start
key on keyboard...

You have said button, NOT key.

That is how it works (what do you expect ?).

"Other people" need to learn how to use Remote Desktop....

By the way, Alt-Home brings Start Menu on remote desktop.

Note the orginal post was for a RD client on Win98.

On my XP Pro to another XP Pro:

If RDP session is full screen Windows key opens Start menu on remote PC.

If not full screen Ctrl-Home opens Start menu on remote PC and Windows key
opens local PCs Strat menu.

BTW Ctrl-Alt-End is required to send a Ctrl-Alt-Del to remote PC regardless
of windows state.
