After installing Cisco VPN client on a Win XP machine, I
can no longer connect to certain servers enabled with
Terminal services or remote desktop.

Any ideas?

In the registry there are two files called **gina.dll. The Windows
version is msgina.dll, the pcanywhere version is awgina.dll and Cisco
uses csgina.dll. It is referenced in two locations which I found
relevant. I have found that changing the file referenced in registry
to the MSgina.dll seems to fix issues with PCA I've had. This may or
may not help you:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs]
"C:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\msgina.dll"="1"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"GinaDLL"="C:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\msgina.dll"

Of course be very careful when editing the registry.

Good luck.
