Have quite a few windows 2000 professional workstations (130 in 15 locations
all on separate lans) and I want to be able to remotely control them from
head office via adsl / vpn. I want to be able to transfer files and do
security patches and minor training. Is their a product that works well with
w2k or does w2k have anything built into the operating system which will
serve this purpose. Have used pcanywhere and webex in the past but was
looking for a more economical solution. File transfers happen twice a year,
patches on a weekly basis, and training is very basic

Any help would be appreciated

Have a look at what WinVNC can do for you.
