error

so how would i remote control it?

If you want to connect to that machine and work then you can use the Remote
Desktop feature that comes only with XP Professional. For addtional
information please check the link -
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/remotedesktop/ Probably this is what
you're looking for.

You can also try the NetMeeting application and Remote Assitance options if
you have someone already logged in and working in the other computer.

oh

i have Win xp Home on both my computers

is there anyway to do it with xp home?

Take a look at

for Remote Assistance instructions. If this doesn't help, post back
with the text of the error message you are getting...

Find somebody with XP Pro and copy the files
C:\Windows\System32\mstsc.exe and C:\Windows\System32\mstscax.dll to a
floppy then copy them to your computer. Then run mstsc.exe (Might work!).
