remote connectivity

Does anybody no If I can use rdc with two windows xp pro computer? If so
does one of them need to be on a corporate network or can I do this so long
as they can both access the internet? I keep playing with this but cant get
it to work...I need to be able to help my mother in law.

If you have any routers configured correctly, the configuration for remote
desktop configured correctly (including the software firewall
configurations) and all users have passwords and are members of groups that
are allowed to use Remote Desktop.. Yes.

Remote Desktop does not, however, allow the other user to see what you are
doing.

Remote Assistance does.
