How can I do this? I have two computers....an XP computer
and a 2000 computer. The XP computer is my home computer
and the 2000 computer is my work computer which is on a
LAN. I'd like to get in to my work computer from home
using terminal services (remote desktop). Is this
possible, and if so, how do you do it?

Jeff,

Is the system at work Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Professional? If it is Windows 2000 Professional then this is
not possible because Windows 2000 Professional does not have the functionality to be a Terminal Server or Remote
Desktop Host. You would need to look into a third party remote control program to allow you do this. If the work system is
Windows 2000 Server it depends on your firewall/routers/proxy. The main thing to remember is that Terminal Services and
Remote Desktop both use the RDP protocol which works over TCP port 3389.
