remote connections (pcAnywhare)

I had a problem with symantic Internet security. They had to VNC into
my computer. I don't have pcAnywhere on my PC. They inform me that
they don't use this product. And can't tell me the name of the 3rd
party product. I need to use this stuff. Any ideas on this.

This depends on your operating system. WinXP (and I
suppose Vista) include configurable Remote control in
the networking setup.
