Remote Connection

I am trying to connect to my office & I get an error message. "The client
could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections may not be
enabled...., computer might too busy or network problems...... I checked
help & checked with my Administrator >. The connection on their end is up &
working. Does anybody have any troubleshooting tips I can do from this end?
I don't know how to confirm if I have Remote Connections enabled?? This
might be the first thing I can check. Thanks for any help.
 
A good way to check if there are multiple machines on a network in the
office, is between two of those machines.

If you can make it work within the office, then the problem is probably with
reaching the office (i.e. having the correct IP address), or with making the
connection through whatever devices connect your office to the
Internet--i.e. router, firewall, etc.
