If I am home and I want to connect to my office PC, what
are the requirments and steps to do so. I have DHCP setup
on my company LAN where my office PC is located. Do I have
to use the remote web connection, if so how & what is
needed to do so. Also will this work through my companies
firewall

Look at this information from Microsoft...

Your company firewall would need to have TCP Port 3389 forwarded/opened to your work PC. Talk to
your firewall/network administrators about that. If your company already allows you access to the
network via a VPN tunnel, you can simply connect through the tunnel to your PC running Remote
Desktop without opening additional ports.

Look at this page for information about the web based method of access. TCP Port 80 would need to
also be forwarded/opened.

Again, I recommend coordinating this with your work firewall/network administrators. They and/or the
company may have policies that forbid this type of access.
