I use Remote connection to access my computer from another
location. For 3 months it worked great. All the sudden I
can no longer connect to my host from the client. I have
tried everything I know and still can't get it to work.
The Ip is set correctly on the client computer and
the "allow remote connection" is on in the host computer.
Any help is appreciated.

What symptom? What error message(s)? Did you recently install a firewall/NAT/router that may be
blocking TCP Port 3389?

The client computer is at another location. No routers or
firewalls. when I try to connect from the client pc, is
says "unable to connect to the host pc, the remote destop
my be turned off or there could be a network problem"
which I assume is my internet connection which is adelphia
cable modem.
