I'm struggling with remote configurations on a laptop. I have three
main scenarios to deal with:
Home office:
Acct 1: POP/SMTP
POP - pop.myconsultingurl.com
SMTP - smtp.west.cox.net
Acct 2: Deactivatived (ideally, this currently just gives me an error)
Onsite consulting: (within a client's firewall)
Acct 1: POP/SMTP
POP - pop.myconsultingurl.com
SMTP - 10.1.1.1
Acct 2: Client Exchange
Out in the world:
Acct 1: POP/SMTP
POP - pop.myconsultingurl.com
SMTP - smtp.myconsultingurl.com
Acct 2: Deactivatived (again, ideally)
Is there a standard way in outlook to A) set up acct 1 to either switch
to these automatically or interrogate me to ask me where I am and B) to
not try and access an exchange acct when I'm outside my client's
firewall?
Thanks
