If you are trying to login using a wrong username, there is no password that
will work.

Well - you have to have a legitimate username and password on the other
machine.
You *must* have a password.
It cannot be blank to use via remote desktop (mostly true.)
The user must be a member of (or a member of a a group that is a member of)
the Remote Desktop Users group of the machine being remoted into.

If you can sit down in front of the machine you will be remoting into, press
CTRL+ALT+DEL twice to get a classic logon, enter your username/password
there and logon (no blank passwords, please) - then you can remote into it
if everything above applies.

Shenan, you seem to know about computers. I need to be able to access my
office computer (in Orlando) from my home, and also when I go to Dallas. What
do I need to do?
