Remote Computer Sound

With my work, I use MSTSC from a Windows XP Pro laptop to remote into a
Windows XP Pro desktop in the office. I cannot play sound on the remote
computer, which is the reason I'm remoting into the computer. I've checked
and the bring sound to computer is checked the Remote Access Properties. I
think it has something to do with the RDP Properties, but I can't find it.
Any ideas? I'm clueless.

Some folks report starting the application that uses sound first then
remoting in solves this issue...

I can't start the application before I remote into the computer. It is a
program to listen to calls and my VPN access won't allow me to play calls
before I remote into the computer. There are 8 people in my office who need
to do this and only two people are having this issue, so I think there is
some setting preventing the sound from playing on the remote desktop.
