Good day,

I have several Windows 2000 servers I want to collect
performance stat's on. I am hoping this is something I
can script and utilize WMI. Where can I find more
detailed information to do this?

In detail. I want to grab the processor utilization every
15 minutes of 5 servers...

Thank you,

Mark

NuTs,

I don't know what this has to do with my original
question, but they are "real" servers.

Great, who makes them?

The reason I am asking is that it is very likely that the vendor has tools
tailored to thier platform to achieve what you are tying to do. If you would
give us more information about what hardware you are running, and any
management apps, tools, or utilities that you have installed on them.
Knonwing this, there is a greater probability that we (ok,... I ) can help.

Im not sure about VBscript and WMI, but I know this can be done with PERL
without that much effort. What it comes down to is presentation of info. If
you were using, say, compaq servers, you could run insight manager to
collect and report on your processor usage of your 5 severs, and have nifty
graphs (in addition to the over abundance of data the CIM makes avilable to
you)..

So, I ask... who makes them? Tell me that, and I might be able to tell you
how, or at least point you in the direction of the wheel that has already
been invented for your particular machines.
