I am currently using a firewall to block internet
access. When this happens I can not use Remote Desktop
or Assistance. Is their any free ware that is available
that lets you take control of a pc, log on automatically,
shutdown the pcs, file transfer and etc....

Thank you!

Open port 3389 and you will be able to use Remote Desktop (which will do all
of the things you are looking for) and Remote Assistance. If the firewall
is UPnP enabled Remote Assistance will work behind the firewall, even with
port 3389 closed, as long as the computer requesting assistance is the one
behind the firewall.
