Remote Assistance

I am trying to assist a friend in the UK, using BT ADSL, and the remote
assistance invitation contains the internal IP address and not the NAT
address? The sending system is the Home addition, XP, SP2?
 
The recipient in the UK has to invoke the invitation for Remote Assistance.
