I am writing from USA. I have sent an Access application to a client in Rome
with instructions as to how to transfer the files and where to put them. In
the event that they do not feel comfortable doing the task, can they (from an
Administrator account - Windows XP) invite me to take over their computer and
(provided they have the CD with the files in the drive) could I then put the
files in the right places and install it? I assume they would have to turn
off their firewall. Would I have to turn off mine? The latter could be
complicated in that in order to access a high speed connection I would have
to work from a network. Would I have to be working out of an administrative
account?
Any insight given would be greatly appreciated.
