REMOTE ASSISTANCE XP HOME TO XP PROFESSIONAL

Good evening everyone, I am just wondering whether there are some people out
there that can help me, a friend of mine is running XP home and he is trying
to invite me to assist him, the problem is that when he clicks on the
hyperliink 'Invite someone to assist you' it comes back with an error saying
that his system is not setup to accept this procedure, or words to this
affect, I have looked into the obvious or at least I think I have so I am
wondering whether there are others out there that has had similiar situation
and would be prepared to assist me if they managed to over come the problem,
your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Did you go to the Remote Tab under properties in My Computer to check and see
if "Allow remote assistance invitations to be sent from this computer" and
"Allow this computer to be controlled remote" (click the advanced button
under the remote tab) is checked off?

Also, I am not sure but I believe that someone with Windows XP Professional
Edition can not Remote Assist someone with Windows XP Home Edition.
