Remote Assistance Window Won't Open

I receive the request for remote assistance and accept it but the remote
assitance window never opens. Any ideas?

I know this sounds silly, but have you tried rebooting?

Which dialog exactly isn't showing up? The "Connecting..." dialog or the actual RA window
(or both presumably)?

Yep - rebooted...no dice. The request is sent, received, and accepted. The
next step in the process is for the RA window to open...but it never does.

The EXPERT machine says the request has been accepted but the REQUESTING
machine still says the request is pending.

I'm having the same problems. Both systems are running Windows Messenger
5.1, both have UPnP enabled on our routers. The request comes in to me, I
accept request, and then nothing happens. Any thoughts?!?

I have the same problem. My Remote Assistance Window won't open. All other
features of messanger work fine. Any suggestions ? I installed Messenger 7.6
and Windows Messenger Live 8.1 (Beta) today, but no luck, Remote Assistance
Window still can not open.

Really need someone's help.
