Is it possible to configure remote assistance so that
rather than the person requiring help requesting the
assistance, the support personel can send a connection
request and have them accept it in (similar to most
remote control software)

Thanks

Dave

If your in a domain or a trusting domain environment you can use the "Offer Remote Assistance"
feature. Go to "Start -> Help and Support" and search on "offer remote assistance" for more
information and/or look at these KB articles for help with that...
