We are planning on rolling out Windows XP in the near future, what I was wanting to know is, is there away of taking control of the users desktop with them having to send you are request for help

I know that this isnt such a hard thing to do but some of our users really are users.....

Connecting via terminal services isnt no good as we don't see what the users are seeing

We really like the idea of remote assistance but don't think the majority of our user base has the skills to be able to do this

Thanks

Yes, in a domain or trusted domain environment you can use the Remote Assistance "Offer"
functionality. Note, however, the Novice still has to give you, the Expert, permission to both view
and control their desktop. Go to "Start -> Help and Support" and search on "offer remote assistance"
for more information and/or look at these KB articles for help with that...
