I am trying to connect two computers using remote assistance.

"Novice" computer is Windows XP SP3 Home Premium

"Expert" computer is Windows 7 Home Premium

In "system properties - Remote settings" both have these items
ticked:-

Allow remote assistance connections to this computer

Allow this computer to be controlled remotely

Connection proceeds OK but full controlled does not occur. The
connection status is shown as:-

Screen view only

What can be done to get full control status, i.e. controlling the
mouse on the XP machine from the Win 7 machine?

Thanks for any info.

Get and utilize teamviewer.

Host or Quick Support on the "Novice".
Full version or portable on the "Expert".
