Remote Assistance Password

On one of the MS XP pages, it describes Remote
Assistance, including the 'expert' accepting and typing
in a password. Where is this password set and is it
necessary? Also, is there any preset that would allow
the 'expert' to intiate remote assistance (or application
sharing) directly, without approval from the second
computer?

Greetings J,

The password is used when you send a Remote Assistance invitation via e-mail or via a file
(see Start, Help & Support, "Invite a friend to connect to your computer with Remote
Assistance ", Invite someone to help you".

There is no setting to automatically "take over" someone's computer via Remote Assistance.
