Problem: The 'expert' initiates an unsolicited Windows XP remote
assistant request to the 'novice', however the 'novice' is not
informed of the request and the 'expert' is presented with logon
credentials within the remote assistance window. Upon suplying
credentials, the 'novice' is logged off and locked out and the
'expert' is effectivly using Remote Desktop within the remote
assistance window. (if the expert supplies the credentials of the
'novice' then the 'novice' is just locked out)
Some History:
Client is migrating from Novell to MS.
New SOE clients (Without legacy Novell or ZenWorks) are not affected
Novell (4.91) and Zenworks for Dekstops Management agent 4.0.1are
still installed on these clients but thier serives are disabled.
Issue occurs when working on same subnet, with personal firewalls
turned off
Issue still occurs with Zenworks for desktops and the Novell client
services enabled.
Issue still occurs with Zenworks for desktops and the Novell client
uninstalled.
Any thoughts ideas would be appreciated.
